On Monday, April 1st, BikeWalk NC Program Manager Laila Horton and Community Outreach Coordinator Oliver Sendall had the opportunity to present the NC Friendly Driver Program to 33 students at UNC-Greensboro.
This is the second time that BikeWalk NC staff has partnered with Dr. Katie Lind to present the program to her class “Communication and Community” at UNC-Greensboro.
The NC Friendly Driver Program is supported by a grant from the NC Governor’s Highway Safety Program and provides important information to help motorists safely co-exist with bicyclists, pedestrians, and other vulnerable road users.
